These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between Splender Travels and you, the traveler. By booking any service or tour with us, you accept and agree to abide by this Agreement. If you’re booking as part of a group, the group leader is responsible for sharing and ensuring all travelers comply with these terms.
All prices are per person and in the applicable currency, as indicated in the booking confirmation.
A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. Once paid, your price is guaranteed from that date. Additional travelers may be subject to updated pricing.
Final payment is due no later than 90 days before tour departure. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in automatic cancellation and applicable fees.
Included: Accommodation, specified meals, sightseeing, transfers, English-speaking guide, bottled water, airport transfers on standard dates, and travel insurance where indicated.
Excluded: International flights to or from Sri Lanka unless noted, visas, tips, alcoholic or soft drinks, personal expenses, optional excursions or add-ons, travel insurance for pre-existing medical conditions unless separately purchased.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
Suppliers’ cancellation terms apply. Refunds are issued at their discretion.
Standard cancellation fees:
More than 91 days before departure: loss of deposit
90 to 75 days: 50% of total price
74 to 60 days: 75% of total price
59 days or less, or no-show: 100% of total price
In rare cases, Splender Travels may cancel a tour due to operational reasons. We will provide a full refund of all monies paid to us. No further compensation will be offered.
We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or government regulations. In such circumstances, supplemental charges or itinerary adjustments may apply.
We reserve the right to modify scheduled itineraries, transportation, accommodation, or activities. Substitutions will be of equal or better standard whenever possible. No refunds are due for minor itinerary changes.
It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport and necessary visas, vaccinations, and travel documents valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
You must disclose any relevant medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
We include limited travel insurance covering basic medical expenses and accidental death. You may purchase supplemental coverage for pre-existing conditions or higher limits.
You participate in all tours and activities at your own risk. We disclaim liability for personal injury, loss, or damage caused by third parties or occurrences beyond our control.
Travelers must act responsibly and respectfully throughout the tour.
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behavior may compromise the safety or enjoyment of the group.
We may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional use. By booking, you consent to the use of your likeness unless you inform us in writing before departure.
Any complaints or refund requests must be filed within 30 days after the tour end date or cancellation. We aim to respond within 30 days, though additional time may be needed if suppliers are involved.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Splender Travels is legally registered. Any disputes must be brought on an individual basis within 30 days of the cause of dispute. You waive any right to seek punitive damages.
We safeguard your personal data and only share it with trusted third-party suppliers as required to deliver your tour. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. We will not share personal details with unrelated third parties without your explicit consent.
